Welfare education is an important content of the comprehensive learning in Japanese primary and secondary schools. This paper introduces welfare education in Japan from such aspects as follows:the signficance of welfare education in Japan,the curriculum-oriented welfare education and the relation to comprehensive learning,and the goals of welfare education.
