Adult Education and Construction of Learning Community

党的十六大提出构建"学习型社会"的宏伟目标,使成人教育发展有了一次新的机遇与飞跃。社区是社会的细胞,学习型社区是学习型社会构成的基本单元;创建学习型社区必然会促使成人教育机制的改革,成人教育体系的完善是创建学习型社区的必要条件;成人教育是我国国民教育体系中最具活力和潜力的教育,理应在创建学习型社区过程中多做贡献。

The sixteenth representatives congress proposes an aim of constructing a learning society,which gives a new chance to adult education.Community is a social cell.A learning community is a basic unit of a learning society.Constructing a learning community will contribute to the reform of adult education system.The perfection of adult education system is an essential condition to construct a learning community.Adult education is an education with plenty of vigour and potential so it should make a greater contribution to the construction of learning community.
