从现代性的三个层面入手,来解读张竞生美学思想,指出其美学思想实际上是包含着现代性的思想,不仅在中国现代美学史上有着独特地位,而且对今天中国的现代化也有着重要的启示作用,是推动中国社会由传统向现代转型的重要思想资源。

The article aims to interpret Mr. Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic thought in regard to three aspects of modernity. His aesthetics thought, as the writer points out, covers some modernity as a matter of fact, thus occupying a unique place in modern Chinese aesthetic history and gaining a deep insight into the current Chinese modernization. It is an important thought resource for pushing the transformation of the traditional Chinese society into a modern one.
