Metafiction as a Literary Variety

在巴赫金看来,小说是一个代表着不同的意识形态和思想世界的社会性杂语对话交锋的舞台。从小说是社会性杂语对话交锋的舞台这一观点出发,我们完全可以得出这样的结论,作为小说家族中一个特殊成员的元小说是文学性杂语和它们所代表的文学观念对话交锋的舞台。

This paper discusses the metafiction based on Mikhail Bakhtin's view. Fiction is regarded as a social stage on which people with different ideology and thoughts meet to have a dialogue. In the light of this viewpoint, we can say that, as a special variety of the fiction, metafiction is a stage of dialogue between different literary ideas and views.
