This paper introduces bridge type design, comparison and selection of Shiyou Bridge in Chenzhou. As a result, the alternative of rigid frame bridge with inclined legs is finally chosen which not only combines the bridge structure and bridge type skiffully and organically but also is harmonized with the surroundings naturally. Moreover,it meets the bridge scenic and aethetic demands of modern city.
