试论五通石英砂岩组的穿时特征

DIACHRONOUS FEATURES OF THE WUTONG QUARTZ SANDSTONE

作者根据对五通石英砂岩的区域分布、沉积相及上、下地层关系,并结合所含古植物、古孢子和介形虫、腕足类等化石组合特征及其区域对比研究,认为该组是一个由晚泥盆世—早石炭世的穿时性岩石地层单位。它的形成与晚泥盆世以来沿扬子凹陷,海水由SW向NE不断扩大有着密切的关系.

Integrated analysis and study have been made according to the regional distribution and sedimentary facies of the Wutong quartz sandstone and underlying strata, coupled with the assemblages of fossil plants, spores, ostracod and brachiopods. The author considers that this formation is a Late Devonian-Early Carboniferous diachronous lithostratigraphic unit. Its formation is closely related to the northeastward invasion of sea water along the lower Yangtze depression and constant expansion of the transgression extent since the Late Devonian.
