Product Innovation and Capital Accumulation

近年来,国内有学者将产品创新问题纳入马克思的资本积累理论,孟捷教授的论著是突出的代表。他在资本积累基本矛盾(剩余价值生产与剩余价值实现的矛盾)的基础上引入产品创新来分析长波,是马克思资本积累理论研究上的一个重大的进展。但是,孟捷的论著中也提出了一些有待斟酌的观点,同时还有一些问题需要进一步讨论。譬如,第一,引入产品创新,是否会动摇马克思资本积累理论的基础?第二,马克思关于一般利润率下降趋势的理论是否因产品创新的引入而死亡?第三,如何在资本积累基本矛盾的基础上引入产品创新来解释长波?本文依次探讨了这些问题,力图进一步深化和完善对这个重要问题的理解。

In late years, some scholars, especially professor Meng Jie, put forward the views that we could analyze the long wave on the basis of combination between product innovation and Marxist capital accumulation theory. This is important develpment to Marx's capital accumulation theory. But, some questions need deeper research. First, if we use product innovation to explain long wave, perhaps we could shake the base of Marx's capital accumulation theory. Second, if we draw into product innovation, perhaps we could no longer use Marx's average rate of profit desceding theory, because product innovation is contradictory to average rate of profit descending theory. Third, how can we draw into product innovation to explain long wave on the base of basic contradiction of capital accumulation? This essay answers all these questions.
