On the Historical and Realistic Reasons for the Division of Science and Arts

科学和人文都是人类文化的重要组成部分。它们之间应是相互影响、彼此依存的关系。然而 ,目前两者分裂的趋势日趋明显。究其原因 ,主要是两方面 :在历史上 ,文明时代到来之前 ,已有了科学和人文分野的前车之鉴 ,再加上科学主义和人文主义的争论与对立近一步加深了这种裂痕 ;另一方面在现实上 ,科学技术的发展导致的畸形 ,是导致两者分裂的根本缘由。

Both Science and arts are important parts of human culture. They should influence each other and rely on each other. However, nowadays, they are becoming increasingly separated from each other. There are two main reasons: on the one hand, historically, division of science and arts had already existed before the arrival of civilized era, and in addition, the debate and confrontation between them enlarges the gap between them; on the other hand, in reality, deformity in scientific and technological development chiefly contributes to the division of science and arts.
