神经节细胞胶质瘤

Ganglioglioma.

本文报告经手术及病理证实的神经节细胞胶质瘤14例,其中位于大脑半球者12例,第三脑室前部和丘脑各1例。年龄6～64岁,30岁以下有10例。病程1.5个月～10年,平均4.7年。主要临床表现为癫痫和头痛。手术行肿瘤全切者8例,部分切除者6例。术后9例随访8个月～7年,5例存活,均恢复工作,4例死亡(3例为肿瘤复发)。指出该肿瘤虽相对良性,但有恶性变可能,应予重视。

Fourteen cases with ganglioglioma verified by surgery and pathology are reported.Among them,12 cases were in cerebral hemisphere,1 in thalamus,and 1 anterior to the third ventricle.Their age range was from 6 to 64 years,and 10 of them were below thirty.The durations of symptoms were between 1.5 months and 10 years (mean 4.7 years).Epilepsy and headache were the main clinical symptoms.The tumors were totally removed in 8 cases and partially resected in 6 cases.Nine of them were followed up from 8 months to 7 years,and 5 are alive and return to work,and 4 died (3 due to recurrence).It is pointed out that the malignant transformation can take place although the tumor is relatively benign,and more attentions should be attended.
