摘要
词典运用策略是语言学习者在习得语言中一项必不可少的重要认知策略。本文运用定量分析的方法,通过调查问卷、词汇测试等方法,对非英语专业大学生英语学习中词典运用策略使用情况进行了实证性调查,并进一步探讨英语学习者分别运用三种不同的参考资源:词典例证,课本及阅读材料,课本及阅读材料加词典例证在词汇知识习得方面是否会存在显著性差异,以期为教师影响和指导学生提高词典运用策略提供一些依据和帮助。
The strategies of looking up are essential cognitive strategies for language learners in acquiring a foreign language. This paper employs quantitative method to make an empirical research on the strategies of looking up in the English learning of non English major college students by means of questionnaire and vocabulary test. Moreover, the orientation is directed towards the moot point, i.e., whether there exist significant differences in terms of vocabulary acquisition of English learners by exploiting three different reference resources such as dictionary illustrations, text & reading material, text & reading material plus dictionary illustrations, whereby these two surveys can provide some practical bases and help for teachers' influence and guidance on enhancing college students' strategies of looking-up.
