摘要
介绍了用于光通信的光隔离器、环形器上的一种小尺寸立方体偏振分束棱镜的设计和制造方法,采用对称优化设计膜系并采用非极值法精确控制膜层厚度,以获得高传输效率高消光比的偏振分束镜。给出了该棱镜的设计和试验结果。
The design and manufacture of a polarizing beam splitter (PBS) cubic prism of small size used in isolater and circulator in optical communication system are presented. The method of symmetrical optimization is adapted in design. The thickness of layers is monitored by non-extremum technique in order to acquire high performance polarizing beam splitter prism with high transmission efficiency and extinction ratio. The result of design and experiment of the prism has been given in this paper.
