Java Card is a multi-functional and secure smartcard, it is capable of running programs written in Java and has high transplantability and security. SMANMM (Secure Mobile Agent based Network Management Model) protects mobile agents that carry out tasks of network management and prevents attacks from hostile host computers based on Java card and encryption technology. This paper has studied in detail the structure, the network management process and related security problems of SMANMM.
