摘要
文章以作者5年间收集的大学一年级四届英语专业8个自然班的专业平均成绩及他们各自的高考成绩为原始数据,运用测试学和教育统计学的原理与方法,对这4年的高考英语试卷预测效度进行了实证研究。
The present paper is intended to evaluate quantitatively the predicative validity of Chinese National Matriculation English Test (NMET) from the year 1997——2000 on the basis of the collections of the freshmen's NMET scores and their major average course scores in the first academic year in the English Department at Wuhan University of Technology. The 208 subjects are sampled from 8 natural classes, but from four grades 1997——2000, two natural classes from the six ones for each grade. The correlation coefficient of two groups of scores was calculated as the predicative validity.
