Objective: To bring out an ideal that the reasonable recognization to the toxicity of TCM is necessary to the health development of natural medicine and it's service to the human. Methods: Analysing the opinions on the toxicity of TCM by the reports at present. Results:The mistaken application leads to the poisoning of TCM. Conclusion: We should strengthen the studying of the modernization of TCM in order to produce the dosage forms of security, effectiveness, steadiness, quality-control.
