巴陵分公司一座发烟硫酸储罐于 1997年投用 ,三年多来在罐顶、焊缝及罐壁部位多次穿孔泄漏。通过对腐蚀形貌和环境进行分析 ,确认罐顶焊接质量差和雨水渗入是造成腐蚀的主要原因。保证焊缝质量 ,罐顶内侧焊缝改为连续焊以及加强设备巡检和维修等措施 ,可保证储罐达到设计使用周期。

A fuming sulfuric acid tank commissioned in 1997 in Baling Petrochemical Company have experienced a number leakages at the top of the tank, welds and wall shell. The analysis of the corrosion form and environment confirms that the main cause of the corrosion is the poor welding quality and water permeation. The designed service life of the tank can be ensured by improved welding quality, application of continuous welding for the internal side of the tank top and strengthened inspection and maintenance.
