五四女作家十分推崇耶稣基督的无私奉献精神 ,因而在创作中着意抒写、弘扬基督的牺牲精神、宽恕精神和博爱精神 ,塑造了一系列具有基督意味而又源于现实的形象类型 ,如拯世者、宽恕者和受难者形象。

The female writers in the period of the May 4th Movement praised highly Christ spirit and deliberately depicted and publicized sacrificial,tolerant and philanthropic spirit of Christ in their production. So they created a series of characters that posses the Christian flavor and stem from reality such as the Savior,the forgiver and the sufferer.
