By analyzing the requirements of production management system for Hubei distribution network, in view of GE Smallworld GIS Platform's feature,the version management and technical solution of unified image-digit were introduced in detail.At the same time,the design principle of GIS and its application situation in Hubei distribution network were emphasized.
