Discussion on the investigation methods of tunnel defects and their countermeasures

The paper briefly introduces the main aspects of tunnel defects investigation and project quality inspection. It also analyses the defects induced by improper route selection, design, construction and maintenance. Finally, some countermeasures are put forward againstdifferent kind of defects in tunnels.
