Social-cultural Environment of Complexity Science——With a Comment on the Postmodernism and "Endism" of all Forms

复杂性科学主要是在20世纪中期西方发达国家的社会文化环境中孕育、产生的,各色"后"字牌和"终结论"思潮是这种环境的重要组成成分。但复杂性科学不可能仅仅在这种环境中发展壮大,而适宜的社会文化环境有待全人类共同营造。

Complexity science has mainly emerged in the social-cultural environment of west developed countries. The postmodernism and 'endism' of all forms are the important component parts of this environment. But it is impossible that complexity science has grown up and matured in only the west countries, and the suitable social-cultural environment must be constructed by all nations of the world.
