The Founding of the normal school in Jing Shi College is the beginning of higher normal education in modern China. The paper explores the initiation of normal school in Jing Shi College, the source of students and their careers after graduation to show that the beginning of normal education in modern China is the inevitability and the results of the time. Although experienced difficultly in social system and ideology, the normal school in Jing Shi College opened up a new page on higher normal education and established the important status in China's normal education.
