词汇的联想意义是文化的一部分。跨文化语境间既存在共有联想,也存在特有联想。后者又分为两种情况,一是文化语境不同,联想意义各异;二是联想意义为一文化语境特有,为另一文化语境空缺。本文探讨了跨文化语境间词汇联想意义的异同。

Associative meaning is one of the parts of culture. Both common associative meaning and particular associative meaning have always been existed in cross context of cultures. The latter has two aspects. One is that different context of culture shares distinct associative meaning, The other is that a certain context of culture enjoys a particular associative meaning while the other lacks of it. This essay aims to present the readers a brief probe of the similarities and differences in cross context of cultures.
