由于我国高校在历史上缺乏依法管理的基础和传统,一定程度上,"依法治校"仅仅是一个"口号",还停留在认识阶段,"依法治校"的任务仍非常艰巨,因此,高校必须努力探索依法治校工作的新途径。高校与司法机关的合作不仅必要,而且可能。实践证明,高校与司法机关开展合作,可以进一步推进高校依法治校工作。

The principle of managing universities according to the law lacks foundation and tradition in university history, which to some extent causes the principle to be a mere watchword at the stage of perceptual knowledge. Its task is hard; therefore, new approaches should be found to manage university affairs. It is not only necessary but also possible for universities to cooperate with judicial departments. There is ample space for the cooperation between the two parties.
