This essay analyses the nature of normal distribution function and its curve, general steps and methods of hypothesis testing. The conclusion shared by statistic of one-sided U-test and two-sided U-test is deduced from applying the theory and methods of mathematical statistics and probability theory and by means of consulting literature. It is used to solve P.E. practical problems.
