People have had great prejudice against the private property for a long time as it's regarded as an evil thing. In fact, the public property has existed along with the private property all the time. Each of them has its particular functions. They're opposite sides of the internal contradition of a thing, opposite and unite. But the opposition makes them harmonious. From the angle of the property's function, the article aims to discuss the necessity of the private property's preservation.
