气韵生动是中国画论一个传统话题。宗白华拈出它来赋之以流动的生命色彩:在画境中显现生命的灵动,于气韵中安顿生命。
The vivid artistic conception is a traditional topic of Chinese drawing. In Zong Bai-hua's theory of Chinese drawing, the vividness of the drawing is best illustrated in the flowing of life, and the Chinese drawing is the homestead of life.
