二十一世纪是知识经济的时代,终身学习成为人们生存和发展的第一需要。本文分析了新加坡应对新时代的要求而建立终身学习体系的措施和经验。新加坡政府通过构建完善的继续教育系统,开展各种类型、不同层次、形式多样的继续教育和终身教育,设立终身学习基金鼓励国民积极参加学习等,这些经验可供我国在发展终身学习体系时参考借鉴。

The 21st century is an epoch of knowledge-based economy, and lifelong learning becomes a basic need of people. This article analyzes the requirement of the new times of corresponding Singapore and measures of setting up the system of lifelong learning. Through establishing complete continuing educational system and having various lifelong learning activities, Singapore government develops all kinds of continuing education and lifelong learning. Lifelong learning fond has been set up to encourage the people to participate the activities. These experiences and measures are very helpful and useful for current development of a lifelong learning system in China.
