Cultural Positioning of Female Image from the Perspective of Euphemism

委婉语是言语交际的润滑剂,女性语言有两个特点;礼貌性和曲折性。本文拟从文化的角度分析女性委婉用语形成的两个主导因素和女性所处的社会地位。

Euphemism is a lubricant in communication. Female language has two characteristics: politeness and indirectness. This paper, from the cultural perspective, discusses two leading factors in the formation of female euphemism and their social status.
