通过对以希腊文明为发端的西方传统文化与中国传统文化下的休闲文化的比较研究发现,东西方在休闲文化传统方面存在着明显的差异,这与东西方文化对"时间"观念的不同理解有关。这一差异的具体表现是:休闲对中国人来说是一种生活态度和生活方式,而在西方文化中,休闲则是一种人生的理想和目标。

Through the comparison between the traditional western Culture that originated from the Greece civilization and the leisure Culture of traditional Chinese Culture, there are obvious differences about leisure Culture between Eastern and Western. And there is a close connection about the different concept of 'time'. From the difference we know that : For Chinese, leisure time is something like a kind of life attitude or life style, and for westerners, leisure time is something like a dream or aim of life.
