Some Ideas on the Teaching of Computer English

根据计算机英语课程的特点,提出提高阅读能力应从打好语言基本功、扩大词汇量、掌握有效阅读方法三方面入手;在计算机英语翻译中,既要尽量忠实于原文,又要从篇章语境中去寻找合理的翻译,消除歧义。

Considering the characteristics of Computer English, the improvement of reading comprehension should start with laying a solid fundation of the language knowledge, enlarging vocabulary and obtaining effective reading skills. In Computer English translation, it is important to be faithful to the original work and to look for rational translations in the discourse context to clear up ambiguity.
