文学翻译预设现象刍议

A Tentative Study on Presupposition in Literary Translation

以语用学和哲学阐释学为依托,描述预设在文学翻译过程中对文学作品的理解、意义的传递和翻译策略的选择所起到的作用,进而论述文学翻译是作者、译者、读者之间的一种预设性对话活动这一本质特征。

This paper is mainly, on one hand, an attempt to depict the functions of presupposition in the understanding of literary texts, the transferring of the original text's meaning, and the choice of translation strategy in literary translation, and on the other hand, an endeavor to reveal further the nature of literary translation——the pre-suppositional negotiations between the writer, the translator and the reader in the light of Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics and pragmatics in general linguistics.
