The paper studies how to improve the large CAD system with KBE technology and set up the database of the standardized mechanical parts based on the software of Unigraphics,analyses the utilization frequencies of standardized mechanical parts and optimizes the sorts of standardized mechanical parts and the user interfaces so that the efficiency of product design is improved.
