NAS基于LAN,按照TCP IP协议进行通信,面向消息传递,以文件的I O方式进行数据传输。在LAN环境下,NAS已经完全可以实现异构平台之间的数据级共享。根据NAS与DAS的特点比较,阐述NAS可以应用在任何的网络环境当中。主服务器和客户端可在NAS上存取任意格式的文件,独立于操作系统,不同类的文件共享,交叉协议用户认证,增加和移除服务器不会中断网络服务,能使异类平台共享。

Comparing with DAS, the paper indicates that NAS can be applied into any network environment.The advantages of NAS are followed:either main ser-ver or customer end can access documents of all formats on NAS conveniently, independent from operation system, realizing sharing between different documents, user's authentication of alternate agreement, cannot cut off network service while adding and deleting server, can be shared by different platform.
