The 'new uses of old drugs' are of great significance in theory andclinical practice. This paper discussed the concepts of 'old drug' and 'new use', proposed that the use of drugs in a new way should be considered in the light of combined treatment, rational use of drugs,routine administration of the medicines, voluntary use of drugs, and using drugs in accordance with law, and described the methods for acting on the proposed principles.
