船舶噪声是一种污染,而作为其心脏的柴油机就更是主噪声源。如今国际船舶领域在控制船用柴油机废气排放的同时,也开始关注起船舶噪声的控制。系统地阐述了船用柴油机噪声的几种类型和机理,探讨了各种针对性的噪声控制措施以及所取得的效果,并简要介绍了国际海事组织制定的船舶噪声标准以及国际上有关船用柴油机噪声控制的新技术。

The marine noise is pollution.As the heart of a ship,the marine diesel engine is the main noise source.Recently,in the international marine filed,the marine noise control is paid close attention to with the limit to the marine engine emission.This paper displays several categories of the noises from marine engine and their respective mechanism,and shows several effective control ways to reduce each kind of marine noise.For example,adoptimg these ways,the MAN B&W diesel engines noise is under the criteria.Moreover,the marine noise criteria drawn up by the International Marine Organization(IMO)and some new control technologies are also be touched on.
