摘要
在消费社会里人们所消费的不是有形的商品 ,而是商品所代表的符号。人们的身份不再由他们所创造的价值来衡量 ,而是由他们所消费的符号来决定。在消费社会里 ,人们对被建构出来的一些象征性符号趋之若鹜。
In comsumer ,s society, what people have consume are the symbols carried by the commodities instead of the so-called commodities.The social significance of people would be judged by what people have consumed rather than by the social values they have contributed to.In comsumer ,s societh, people present a strong desire to the constructed symbols, while the media are involved with the construction of the symbols.
