摘要
西南地区震旦系灯影组富藻段的白云岩中,经常见到由粒状白云石组成的、具有锥-柱状外形的管状物。由于它们呈丛状、弧状或扇软聚集,很多研究者都鉴定为原地生长的红藻类低等植物。经地表和岩心的微观研究,它们是去硅化作用的产物。
In the algae-rich dolostones of the Sinian Dengying Formation specific aggregations of granular dolomite presenting in pyramidal-columnar tubes are commonly observed.
Because of their dendroid, arcuate or fan-shaped configuration, many investigators have recognized them as primitive red-algae species grown in Situ. Our microscopic investigation on both surface and drillcore samples discovered that these aggregations are no other than products of desilicification.
