In order to investigate the influence of acupun-cture on the content of cyclonucleotide in the earlyfollicular plasma of healthy childbearing women,theauthors conducted the experiment on 21 cases bygrouping finding that the level of cyclonucleotide in-plasma of healthy childbearing women is fairly low3 to 5 days after the menstruation.Needling Baihui(Du 20) with reinforcing method can cause cAMPand cGMP further fall down,but the ratio betweencAMP and cGMP raised.However,the reducing tech-nique brings about no remarkable change.This resultsuggests that the effect of reinforcing techniquediffers from that of reducing.The level of cyclonu-cleotide in early follicular plasma of healthy childbea-ring women is optimal in low concentration.
