电针为主治疗外伤性截瘫37例临床观察

Clinical Observation on the Treatment of 37 Cases of Traumatic Paraplegia with Electric Acupuncture

现代医学研究表明,各种脊柱外伤引起的截瘫,凡持续24小时以上,几乎无自行恢复的希望。目前西医除在脊髓损伤的急性期采用手术治疗外,对本病尚无理想的治疗方法。自1987年以来,我们以电针为主治疗外伤性截瘫患者37例,疗效满意,现报道如下。

The prescribed points were:1)Baihui(GV 20),Qianding(GV 21),Huantiao(GB 30),and Jiaji(0.5 cun from the spine,2 vertebrae above thefocus of the injury down to the 5th sacral vertebrae),2)Baihui(GV 20),Qianding(GV 21),Jianyu(L.I.14)and Quchi(L.I.11).The two groupsof points were punctured alternstely and certainpoints were supplemented according to the differen-tiation.G 6805 electric acupuncture apparatus wasconnected for 30 minutes with the points at thehead,back and extremities.Continuous wave wasadopted with the frequency ranging from 60 to 80times per minute.This needling was once daily and10 times constituted one course of treatment.Therewas 2-to-3-day interval between every two courses.Moxibustion,acu-injection,and functional traningwere combined.Altogether 37 cases were treated andthe time of treatment was 18 courses in average.Thetotal effective rate was 80.2%.
