刘邓大军挺进大别山战略决策探讨——兼以纪念解放战争胜利55周年

Discussion About the Strategic Decision of Liu and Deng's Troops Boldly Driving into Dabie Mountains ——In Commemoration of the 55th Anniversary of the Victory of Liberation War

解放战争第二年,刘邓、陈粟、陈谢三路大军大举出击中原,从根本上扭转了全国的战局,而刘邓大军挺进并转战大别山更在当时产生了重大的政治和军事影响。刘邓所部为此也付出了沉重代价。究其原因,一是不要后方而采取跃进方式向敌占区敏感地带大举进击的战略所带来的负面影响;其二,从政治、经济、军事、地理等方面分析,当时大别山并不适合我强大野战兵团建立根据地。由于力所不及,刘邓大军创建大别山根据地的任务并没有预期完成。刘邓大军挺进大别山,前进距离似显过远,因而付出了过大代价。

During the 2nd year of the Liberation War, The three great army forces respectively led by Liu and Deng, Chen and Su, Chen and Xie advanced towards the Central Plains in great move, which changed the war situation fundamentally. The fact that Liu and Deng's army troops boldly drove into Dabie Mountains and fought in one place after another there resulted in even more significant influence on the then political and military conditions. On the other hand, the troops under Liu and Deng's command also suffered heavy losses. Tracing the causes to its sources, there are two. One is to adopt the strategy to attack in a great move on the sensitive zones of the enemy-occupied areas by way of great leap forward without the rear support, which brought about a negative effect; the other is that it was not suitable for our large field corps to establish bases in Dabie Mountains at that time from the points of politics, economy, military and geography, and so on. Besides, their advancing distance seemed to be so far and their time spent fighting against the enemy there was so long that Liu and Deng's army force suffered heavy losses.
