This paper introduced the structure of two main cam systems of resting flat knitting machine, and comparison was madeto the controlling elements of the two kinds of cams. And the advantages and disadvantages of the two structures werepresented using figures. It was suggested that the second kind of cam controlling element (patented in China) bears simplemovement and wrong operation is not easy to happen.
