STUDIES ON CALYPTERATAE FLIES FROM HEBEI, CHINA (1) (DIPTERA: MUSCIDAE)

整理近年来采自河北省蝇科标本,发现阳蝇属Helina R.-D.二新种和棘蝇属Phaonia R.-D一新种,特此描述。模式标本存于沈阳师范学院生物系。 1.黑古阳蝇Helina nigricnnosa Xue et Zhao,新种(图1—4)

Among the specimens collected from mountainous region in the Hebei Province during the last few years, there have been three new species of Muscidae, each belonging to the genera Helina R. -D. and Phaonia R. -D. respectively. The types are kept in the Department of Biology, Shenyang Normal College.1. Helina nigriannosa Xue ct Zhao, sp. nov. (figs, 1 4) Locality: Benxi, Liaoning; Mt. Xiaowntai Shao, Hebei, China.Male: This species somewhat resembles Helina utinosa (Zett., 1838), bur differs from the latter in the frons being rathet broad; prealar bristle rather long, lateral margin and ventral surface of scutellum bare; legs black, hind femur with 10 to 14 long anterovcntral bristles on the apical three fifths, hind tibia without setae on the postuoveniral suface.2. Helina nigriquadrum Xue et Zhao, sp. nov. (figs. 5-7) Type-locality: Mt. Xiaowutai-Shan (2400 m), Hebei, China.This new species is closely related to the Helina quad rum (Fab., 1805), but differs from the latter in the arista long plumose, the longest hairs on arista about 1.5 times width of third antennal segment; prealar bristle shorter than a half length of the posterior notopleural; tibiae dark black; free part anal cerci rather broad apically.3. Phaonia subnigrisquama Xue et Li, sp. nov. (figs. 8-11) Type-locality: Fuping, Hebei, China.Male: Resembling Phaonia nigrhquaina Stein, 1908, but the frons very narrow, narrowest part narrower than the width of front ocellus; pnrafacialia about as wide as antenna, anterior margin of antenna normal, arista long plumose, hairs on the arista about 1.5 times width of third antennal segment: acrostichal bristles 0 + 1, prealar bristle short, beret with setulae; knob of halter orange, stem brown; tibiat orange.
