2004年《绿色中国》第一期刊发第一期刊发《大坝之争:午后斜阳?还是初升朝阳?》一文后,在社会上引起强烈反响。读者纷纷来信来电表达对怒江的关注,并希望能够通过本刊了解到更多的内幕和事态的进展。2004年2月16日至24日,来自北京、云南的专家、记者走进怒江,进行了为期9天的采风活动。他们在此行中拍摄了上千张照片,镜头中的这些画面,曾一度深深打动着他们中的每一个人。这些专家、记者们挑选出了150幅照片,于3月21日在北京向广大北京市民展出。同时,参与采风的专家沈孝辉先生为本刊撰写了本篇《怒江十问》,并提供了许多鲜为人知的图片,在此一并推荐给全国的读者朋友们。
Fighting for Dams: Sunset or Sunrise? An article published in the first periodical of this year's Green China has aroused severe concern and responses from society. Many readers expressed their concerns about 'River Nu' by telephone, mail, or letters and they wished to know more details and ongoing developments on the subject. From February 16 to 24, 2004, specialists and correspondents from Beijing and Yunnan came to River Nu and conducted a 9-day project of collecting folk songs. During this journey, they shot thousands of photos, in which the scenes had deeply moved each of them. They selected 150 pictures from them and made an exhibition on March 21 for Beijing citizens. At the same time, Mr. Shen Xiaohui, one of the specialists taking part in the activity wrote this article, 'Ten Questions about River Nu' and offered a lot of fresh pictures for our readers and friends all over the country.
