摘要
近年来，世界的环保潮流越来越深入地朝着生活方式渗透。当越来越多的人对西方特别是美国的消费主义文化的全球化提出疑问的时候，中国究竟选择何种消费模式，应该成为国人思考的问题。中国正以历史上最脆弱的生态系统，承受着历史上最多的人口和最强的发展压力。人世后的每个中国人都应该问问自己；如果我们都效仿美国的消费模式。
In recent years, the trend of environmental protection is influencing People's life styles deeper and deeper all over the world. When more and more Chinese express their doubts about the globatization of consumer culture in the western world, especially the United States, the kind of consumption mode China should adopt becomes an important question for us to think about. From the standpoint of China's long history, today's China is beating the maximum population and the heaviest development pressures with her most fragile ecosystem. After entering the WTO, each Chinese should ask himself or herself. 'If all of us imitate the American consumption mode, will China's ecosystem break down sooner or later? If all of us pursue the American life style, can we leave enough natural resources for our children and children's children? If all of us copy the American consumerism culture, does it really mean the happiness for Chinese?
