世界自然基金会(WWF)中国代表郝克明(Jim Harkness)先生在接受“中国发展简报》主编高飏(译音，Nick Young)采访时，就中国目前的自然环境状况以及WWF的工作坦率地发表了自己的看法。尽管采访对象及采访者的观点仅仅是个人观点，但这些看法不仅有助于我们了解WWF的工作思路、方法及其在华策略和角色演变，同时对我们在自然和社会层面深入思考环境正义、NGO的社会影响机制．自然保护和生态旅游等问题也不乏可资借鉴之处。经商请作者同意，本刊特发此文，欢迎广大读者对文中所涉及的话题特别是有争议的问题发表自己的意见和建议。
When Mr. Jim Harkness, the Chinese representative of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), is interviewed by Nick Young, chief editor of China Development Booklist; he frankly expresses his opinions on China's current natural environment and the work of WWF. Although the viewpoints of the interviewee and interviewer are merely individual ideas, they can help us to understand the working policies, methods of WWF and its strategies in China as well as evolution of its roles. Meanwhile, we can also draw on these viewpoints when we are considering the problems like environmental justice, NGO's social influence mechanism, natural protection, and ecology, as they interact with nature and social levels.
