六盘山地区雏蝗属一新种——直翅目:蝗总科

A NEW SPECIES OF CHORTHIPPUS FIEBER FROM LIUPANSHAN REGION ORTHOPTERA:ACRIDOIDEA

在鉴定宁夏农学院送检的宁夏地区蝗虫标本时,发现有雏蝗属一新种,现记述如下。模式标本保存于陕西师范大学生物系蝗虫研究室。 红胫雏蝗Chorthippus rufitibis新种(图1—4) 雄虫 体中型。头顶三角形,较平,具中隆线,侧缘隆线明显。头侧窝长约为宽的2—2.6倍。颜面侧观向后倾斜,颜面隆起在触角基部之下具明显的纵沟。

The present paper deals with descriptions of a new species of Chortkippus Fie-ber. Type specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Shaanxi Teachers University.Chorthippas rufitibis sp. nov. (figs. 1-4)This new species is allied to Chorthipput fltxivenus Liu and Chortkippus xiang-ckertgentis Liu, but differs from the bothin:l)elytra reaching beyond the hind femur distinctly; 2) the width of costal area larger than the width of subcostal area about 1.3 times, its width as wide as the width of radial arca((?)) or the width of costal area slightly narrower than the width of radial area, the width of radial area larger than the width of subcostal area about 1.87 times ( (?) );3) the number of the stridu-latory pegs is 167. Length of, body:(?) 16-17, (?)22mm. Length, of pronotum(?) 3.5-4, (?) 5mm. Length of elytra:(?) 14 - 15, (?) 15mm.
