摘要 当前对牙齿发育机制的探讨日渐深入 ,尤其是对牙齿发育中转录因子的研究进展极为活跃 ,已经明确同源异形盒基因 (Homeobox)家族中的多个成员 ,是启动和促进牙齿发育过程不可缺少的信号分子。HLH(helix -loop -helix)家族 ,作为与Homeobox并列的另一大类转录因子 ,因其在神经、肌肉发生 ,心脏发育等过程中所起的关键作用而备受关注 ,关于它们在牙齿发育中的作用 ,国外已见报道。本文试图对HLH家族做一简要介绍并就其与牙齿发育的关系进行综述。 To date, transcription factors, especially those of Homeobox family, have been widely studied and considered to be essential for the initiation and progression of tooth development. Another transcription factor family, the helix-loop-helix family, is now focusing more and more attentions as their key roles in a wide array of developmental process, including neurogenesis, myogenesis, and heart development.Here, we summarize the properties of HLH proteins and discuss their possible involvement in tooth development control.
