对建设上海国际金融中心的思考

On establishing Shanghai as an international financial center

当代国际竞争主要是金融竞争,金融竞争主要不是机构之间的竞争,而是城市之间的竞争。因此把上海建设为国际金融中心是国家发展战略的需要。本文在研究了国际金融中心的功能定位、衡量标准后,探讨了建设上海国际金融中心的必备条件以及制度建设问题,并指出建设上海国际金融中心,要重视发挥外资金融机构的作用。

In modern society, international competition is primarily the financial competition among metropolises rather than among institutions. Based on the study of the functions and criteria of international financial centers, this paper probes into the essential conditions and system construction criteria of turning Shanghai into an international financial center. In addition, this paper points out that the role of foreign-funded financial institutions can not be neglected.
