Forex deposit broking, introduced by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) one year ago, has played an active role in promoting the exchanges between financial institutions, and in enhancing the transparent and efficient operation of the domestic forex market. Marking the occasion of the one-year anniversary of forex deposit broking, this paper reviews the performance of the domestic forex deposit market, analyzes the problems restricting market vitality, and then puts forward suggestions for the further development of the forex deposit market.
