成年大鼠中枢神经系统脑室下带的组织学特征研究

A STUDY ON THE HISTOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE SUBVENTRICULAR ZONE IN THE CNS OF ADULT RAT

摘要 为研究位于成年哺乳动物侧脑室外侧壁脑室下带 ( SVZ)的整体结构特征 ,本研究采用光镜观察半薄切片 ( Nissl染色 )、扫描电镜观察并结合形态计量分析技术 ,研究了侧脑室外侧壁不同部位以及内侧壁、第四脑室底壁和脊髓中央管壁的组织结构并做了相互比较。结果表明 ,仅侧脑室外侧壁存在有 SVZ,主要由具有未成熟特征的细胞组成 ,此处血管丰富。 SVZ的吻侧段明显地厚于中间段和尾侧段 ,位于吻侧段 SVZ部位的室管膜室腔面纤毛数量明显多于其他部位。本研究结果提示 ,SVZ有其独特的组织学特征 。 It has been known well that the neurogenesis persists at the subventricular zone (SVZ) of the lateral wall of the lateral ventricles in the adult mammals, but little is known about the structural features of this area. In order to explore the morphological characteristics of the SVZ which has been proved to contain the neural stem cells, the semithin sections with Nissl staining and scanning electronic microscope observation combined with morphometry analysis were used in the present study. Those areas including different parts of the lateral (SVZ) and medial walls of the lateral ventricle, the bottom of the 4th ventricle and the wall of the central canal of the spinal cord were observed. The results showed that SVZ only existed in the lateral wall of the lateral ventricles in adult rats, which was composed of many dark stained cells with immature structural characteristics. It was also showed that there were abundant vessels in the SVZ compared with that in the striatum. The thickness of the SVZ in the rostral segment of the lateral ventricle was larger than that in the intermediate or the caudal segment, and the number of the cilia outgrowing from the ventricular surface of the ependymal layer located in the rostral segment of the SVZ was also larger than that of the intermediate or the caudal segment. The results indicate that the SVZ of the lateral wall of the lateral ventricle possesses its own histological features because of its relations with the neurogenesis.
