On the Origin of Women's Writing in the New Age

论文将新时期第一个十年(1976-1985)的女性写作置于当时中国文学的现实背景之下,探讨其在新时期初期发生、发展过程的原因和特点。此期的女性写作是在主流文学之中孕育和发展起来的,女作家们对人道主义的热情关注和独特解释奠定了她们在十年文学史上的地位;从潜意识层面看,这也是她们为了置身于主流文学史而“摹仿”男作家的写作策略。与此同时,女性主义的意识在作家们对男/女关系的叙述和女性形象的塑造中流溢出来。

This paper examines female writing in China during the first ten years (1976 - 1985 ) of the new age against the backdrop of the overall Chinese literature. It explores the causes and features of the o- rigin and development of female writing at the beginning of the new age. Women's writing during this period is nurtured and enriched in the mainstream literature. The women writers' enthusiasm towards humanism plus their unique understanding established their positions in the ten years' literature history. Viewed from the perspective of sub-consciousness, this is an imitation of male writers' writing strategies so that they could become part of the mainstream literature history. Meanwhile, the feminism conscious- ness flows out of the writers' description about men/women relationship and women characters.
